Brooklyn Bedding mattresses are designed to be used on foundations with solid support with minimal to no flex. This includes slatted wood or metal foundations with slats no more than 5" apart, wood or metal box foundations, and solid wood or metal platforms. Are your Titan Plus Luxe Mattresses flippable?

Most Brooklyn Bedding mattresses should be rotated every 6 to 8 months but never flipped (or inverted). Our mattresses are designed with comfort layers on top and support layers on bottom, including individually encased coils in hybrid models. We also use higher quality materials that last much longer than traditional mattresses. The exceptions to the “no flip” rule are the Plank Firm and Plank Firm Luxe mattresses by Brooklyn Bedding. These mattresses are designed with varying firmness levels on either side of the mattress and can be flipped to customize your sleep experience.

How does the 120-night trial period work?

If during your 120-night sleep trial (which begins once you receive your new mattress), you decide that you are not completely happy with your mattress and wish to return it, we will help dispose of your mattress and help you begin your return.

Please allow 30 days to laps from the date of delivery before beginning the return process.

Customers are able to make use of this 120-night comfort trial on one occasion. The second occasion is not eligible for a return.

Please note: there is a $99 return fee for all mattress returns to cover the cost of picking up your mattress. We do our very best to donate, recycle, or otherwise repurpose all returned mattresses.

Every Brooklyn Bedding mattress is assembled in our Arizona facility, allowing us to ensure the highest quality every single time. Our mattresses are GREENGUARD Gold Certified and made with CertiPUR-US certified foams, which guarantees they are made without any harmful chemicals including ozone depleters, PBDE flame retardants, mercury, lead, heavy metals, formaldehyde, and have extremely low impact on indoor air quality.

What cooling features are available in the Titan Plus Luxe?

The Titan Plus Luxe is constructed with several cooling features. First, a uniquely woven top knit in the standard model ensures a neutral temperature environment. Second, the Titan Plus Luxe features an infusion of TitaniumGel™ in the TitanFlex™ foam layer, contributing significantly to a cooler night’s sleep. Third, the coil systems used in the construction of hybrid mattresses always allow for greater airflow than all-foam mattresses.

For even greater temperature moderation, a GlacioTex™ Cooling Cover can be added to any Titan Plus Luxe mattress as an optional feature—just look for the "Add Glaciotex™ Cooling Cover” option on the right side of the product page when making your selection. Once you add this feature to your mattress, the GlacioTex Cooling Cover will be sewn into the surface of the mattress to moderate temperature while delivering ultimate cooling on contact.

The GlacioTex™ Cooling Cover is an optional feature that does not impact the contouring, firmness level, or support of the Titan Plus Luxe mattress.

Good plush comfort, weak edge support

"I’m 6’3” and around 300lbs, so I was looking for a solid heavy-duty mattress w/ the Titan Plus Luxe. The plush top layer is comfortable for lying down, especially on my side or back, and the materials feel high quality. However, the edge support is disappointing. When I sit on the side of the bed, I sink in way too much and the edges sag noticeably. This makes the mattress feel less stable overall for someone my size. It’s well-made, but if strong edge support matters to you, consider a firmer option."

This mattress is much firmer

"This mattress is much firmer than I expected. I had to change my pillow since I am side sleeper and didn't sink in as far as usual. Had a kink in my neck for a week. Once I changed pillows seem to sleep better. Still getting used to the firmness, but hoping I will adjust over time. Biggest reason I went with the mattress is I wanted something that will last and won't get "valleys" after time. Still too soon to measure that."

"The mattress is nice. Cooling is great it supports my weight. The downside is this specific one isn’t any more comfortable than my old $200 mattress. I bought this because it was made to support my size better yet be comfortable. I feel the springs in this mattress and it’s very firm."

"I bought this mattress for my daughter, who is a person with disabilities. I specifically bought a plus size mattress for the stronger edge support and no sagging. The edges still sag if she sits on it, even the corners scrunch down. My daughter only weighs 115 lbs, maybe."

"It is really a soft and comfortable comparing to other brands. When I say soft it is not too soft or too hard its a perfect mattress but just like any mattress if you are a heavy person this mattress will be soft and you need to switch sides . It's Okay, So Far

"So far, this mattress is "okay". We went from a Purple to a Big Fig (no bueno) to the Titan. I've noticed a little "sag" on my side that I hope does not worsen. I wish the edges were as supportive as the Big Fig for getting in and out. All in all, it's been okay thus far."

"Such a comfortable mattress. I did some extensive research for a mattress that would be good for someone my size. The firmness is perfect, It's not hard but it's also not overly soft. I am a side sleeper and it's perfect. Before I had the mattress I was getting lower back pain and it went away within a week of using it."

Is it the springs?

"First off, well constructed matress. I'm 6'2" and 280lbs. My wife is smaller. My wife and I move around but mainly side and back sleepers. I can say not enough give with the lux version. It's just too stiff for a side sleeper of my weight and height. Also mention that any matress will feel stiffer when you change the base. We removed a box spring for adjustable base and that will make any matress feel stiffer as the base has no give. Also, if you're putting a matress topper/protector skip the cooling top as the benefit is not there but if you're not it makes a difference and does feel cooler. Edge support is good and motion isolation is good as well. I can sleep near edge no problem, no slipping. Bottom line: We had to add matress topper to make bed more comfortable for our liking and are still debating whether this is the matress for us."

60 day check-in

"I’ve had the Mattress a little over 60 days and I’m starting to get better sleep. I used to have a sleep number bed and as a heavier side sleeper, the side would frequently give out and I would end up falling on the floor. I’m definitely not having that problem in the 60 days that I’ve had this bed. I’m hoping that I will be able to ride my 120 day review because I do not feel 60 days is a long enough time. And there is a 120 day warranty and I do not want to be held to these notes."
